Epic Running Adventure Camps
July 14- 17, 2011 

Epic Running Adventures is a unique running camp designed for runners of all ability levels, trail runs will be done at a comfortable pace that suits your fitness.  That said, we do require a moderate running fitness base-averaging 30 miles per week and a weekly long run of at least ten miles.  Sign Me Up! 

Adventurers' will stay at Dutch Creek Ranch adjacent to Steamboat Lake State Park, which is 30 miles north of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included, as well as guided epic running adventures.  *Air and ground transportation to and from ERA are NOT included in the price.

EPIC RUNNING ADVENTURE CAMP INCLUDES: 
All-inclusive package: $1200 (shared room), $1,500 (single room).

pace limited to 20 participants.

·         3 nights lodging at Dutch Creek Ranch, cabins will sleep 2-3 runners.  Special private accommodations can be made for an additional fee.
·         4 epic mountain trail runs with experienced and knowledgeable trail runners.
·         All meals are included.  Breakfast and dinner served at Dutch Creek Ranch, lunch will be eaten while out on the trail or served back at the ranch.
·         Transportation will be provided to and from all running camp activities.  *Airfare and transportation to and from the camp are not included in the price.
·         Strengthening and lengthening yoga classes designed specifically for runners.
·         Individual assessment of running form and trail running technique.
·         Presentations on trail running, hydration and refueling, training, running gear, and injury prevention.

CAMP SCHEDULE (subject to change)
Day 1
6 – 7 am Rejuvenating and lengthening yoga for runners
7 - 8 am Healthy breakfast, coffee, tea
8:00 am Depart for ERA
2 – 6  pm Free time for hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, swimming, or massage (must book massges in advance).
6 pm Dinner followed by presentation: road to trail running, uphill and downhill running, and pacing.

Day 2
6 - 7 am Rejuvenating and lengthening yoga for runners
7 - 8 am Healthy breakfast, coffee, tea
8:00 am Depart for ERA
2 – 5  pm Free time for hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, swimming, or relaxation massage (book in advance).
6 pm Dinner followed by presentation: periodization training/pyramid, and injury prevention, rest and recovery.


Day 3
6 – 7 am Rejuvenating and lengthening yoga for runners
7 - 8 am Healthy breakfast, coffee, tea
8:00 am Depart for ERA
Noon – 1pm Return to Dutch Creek Ranch to shower

1 – 2 pm Lunch
2:00 Afternoon Departures
